The reality is Isak aside we haven’t lost any players (major ones) and we still have a very good core of players. We might sign a striker and the situation is if we do actually sell Isak we have 100’s of millions to spend in January and next summer when all the cartel have spunked their PSR budgets. So maybe we just wait this out instead of panic buying?
Newcastle will get some very good players in... Ffs man you wet farts there's a pecking order... We're trying to be ambitious...
**** me, NEXT SUMMER?!?! How many times can the can get kicked down the road?! You’d be happy to just make do with one striker and Osula with 50+ games?!
I’m Not happy no. But I’m thinking longer term here and trying to find an alternative to the cartel trumping us. We can’t compete on wages. You know my feeling with the current setup of staff. So. We focus on getting the staff right in the next 4 months. Then we focus on winning as many games as we can. Then the January transfer window comes and most teams will have spent the money this window. So we can maybe get some rich pickings as teams look to balance PSR. Then we still have a war chest for next summer. If we sigh Thiaw and Wissa this window along with Elanga and Ramsdale we should be fine to challenge top 6 again.
In other news Maddison is going to miss the majority of this season because of the knee injury he sustained against us. I could tell it was bad but **** me some players just get some bad luck don’t they.
Oh I know it’s not actually bad news for us I just feel for him. When I was watching it you could tell in his face he knew it was super bad. It’s possible it’s a career ending injury.
**** me… this **** will be telling us spring onions come out of the ground next. Organic goodness… **** off
To be fair you’re paying trippier double what he’s worth. Matt targett about 4 times what he’s worth and Gordon about double. Can understand why Isak is pissed warning 20k more then targett
