    You might remember a few weeks ago i said i had a practical test at Nissan? ..

    Well i passed that anyway so thanks for all the support :D

    Got an even bigger test today .. a production test .. basically throw me in at the deep end and see how i do !!

    Here we go again !!

    It will prob be a manual dexterity test. Just need to look like you know what you are doing and you are confident in your tool/hand skills. You don't actually have to complete the test in the timescale,you just have to complete what you can correctly!!!

    Its full of mackems !! .. It went well though .. 99% sure al get the job .. its a ****er to get to for me as i dont drive but the money makes it well worth it .. if anyone is looking for a job get online and apply man it seems there are a few places going .. DONT TAKE MINE THOUGH !!!

    Ahh right did you say yours was contract work or direct for nissan? .. did you go for a line trial as well then?

    Yea i wanted to make that .. should start making it in sunderland .. Largest manufacturer in europe after all.

    its working for a agency for first year. had medical and took boot size just waiting now.



    They make Leaf, New Qashquai, Note, Juke there. I applied to fill the vending machines but was more interested in the cars being made

    I warned you it was a mackem heartland, it smelt didn't it? Seriously though well done it is a very good place to get into by all accounts. A lad I know started there, now works for Rolls Royce (or did last time we spoke) and was earning a small fortune. I think having been at Nissan was a big plus point when he went for the job. Good luck. On transport, once you get in there is bound to be someone there wwho you can get a lift off if you offer a small weekly amount for petrol. Once you get a bit of cash behind you (if you don't piss it all up the wall), then they give you good discounts on the cars. I nearly bought a Quasquai just because it was so god damn cheap buying through my mate.
