That’s probably the realistic aim isn’t it? Levy talking about winning the title etc just makes the club look ridiculous
That sums it up...good run and shot by Odobert....and it hits Davies on the back. WTF he was there remains a mystery....
Odobert has been bright and Bissouma and Gray have done ok as well. Kudus the only stand out and he could probably do a job as an AM, but it would waste his wide skills.
So one offside goal and the softest penalty this side of Anfield Yup, I think that taught Frank the real key to managing Spurs: don't expect refs to know what their jobs entail when we're on the pitch
So, just a 2-0 drubbing then? Not sure there's anything to be gained by focusing on a couple of soft decisions.
With Sonny gone and Maddison injured for 6-7 months, that’s 46 goal contributions (23 each) we’ve lost for the start of the season from what we had last year.
Going 1-0 down tends to affect how a match unfolds And that's before the Clattenbergesque approach to challenges where we got penalised for several fair challenges yet they seldom got penalised for challenges that would usually draw a booking - which is presumably why Cuti was giving the officials both barrels at half time
I didn't watch the game and haven't watched any of the pre-season matches. This comment is going to sound reactionary but I meant to write it yesterday and forgot. I think that our squad is rather broken and unbalanced and we're in trouble. We might do a little better in the league, but that's probably about it. We've got too many crocked individuals and poor team balance. The failure to address our club-trained numbers is appalling. Our apparent long-term injuries are ridiculous, as are our crocked players. Our failure to integrate youth options into weak areas is ludicrous. I'm expecting a mediocre season at best, to be honest. Frank's probably going to get a load of **** for it, too. Some late window movement may help a bit, but not much.
