I hate to urinate on the parade, but that is very much a mid-table team with a relegation level bench. Hugely worrying how little we've strengthened.
I have this feeling that Frank is going to end up having a Ramos-esque start to the season. We still look really unconvincing. Mind you, it’s hardly surprising with the lack of signings. Once again, starting a season with not enough done in the transfer window, and having to deal with any new additions not getting a preseason with us. Same old story.
Yeah I don’t see a good season. Lost Son’s goals which haven’t been replaced. I don’t see enough creativity in the squad as it stands. Thomas Frank is being set up to fail unless the clubs quickly moves for multiple quality players.
The 2nd half has started badly...somehowe haven't conceded, but we are being torn to shreds. Cannot keep any possession. Woeful.
On another note, Lange. Please can someone tell me what he’s done to positively impact the footballing side of Tottenham since he arrived? Genuine question.
Sonny only contributed 11 goals last season, which is a real drop from previous years. So we had enough warnings....
I said at the beginning of the summer I had this awful feeling Levy looked at the squad and felt Frank will get much more out of it than Ange (probably true), and decided to hold back on investing so that he could first find out if he'd stumbled across another manager who can polish turds. Levy made the same mistake when he replaced Poch with Mourinho and then didn't give him any investment.
Yeah 11 goals and similar amount of assists. Kudus will hopefully get goals and assists but the club still needs a lot more

At this rate it's difficult to see anything but PL mid-table at best - and the CL games could be a massive embarrassment.
