But I have not once said buy anyone, I stress again, I said we have the worst OPTION in the entire division. If either gets injured we have zero option, it also means we have no replacement when or if that sole option needs replacing. It deserves panic, Everton is a team we need to be beating to drag into a dog fight, Bogle is injured and "could" be out for weeks meaning Byram is the only available RB - We have Aaronson as the only AM or number 10 and we have Jack Harrison who most people hate looking like he is going to line up wide left Surely we don't just randomly enquire if a player is interested in joining or is available to appease the fans do we, surely we have a genuine interest and feel that they would make the team better. I just don't get why we haven't taken any of the attacking enquiries further when we are a week away from the season starting. We knew what division we were going to be playing in 3-4 weeks before Sunderland, as Eire pointed out, why tell Bamford and Joffy to find new clubs when we only have two strikers
Jamie Vardy has posted an image of him training at Sunderland, well his legs and Sunderland advertising boards behind him
I think we need to move on, we seem to be making very different points or not understanding the points that each of us are trying to make. So, for clarity. I agree that we have the worst options in the PL. I disagree that the championship clubs you referenced have better choices (in that they have a better standard of player). We might have enquired about the Chelsea forward and it might not be random but we may have decided £50k a week was too much to pay a player who is behind Joseph in the Spanish international set up (who is probably on a lot less wages) or more than we want to pay to develop a talent so that they can up his value when they come to sell (I don’t know, guess work on my part). Lastly I reiterate my point that this impasse could have nothing to do with our recruitment team but player or agents keeping their options open or actively turning us down. Players simply don’t jump at the chance to join us the minute we enquire about them, those days are long gone for now.
Yeah eire is right. Sorry for the abbreviation, but everyone needs to get used to it If we sign him because I'm sick of looking up how to spell Bilal El Khannouss already
being linked with Ben Doak a bit at the moment too... he's young, raw and was crocked for half of last season but looked a real handful when fit
Assume it’s going to be a loan, hopefully option to buy but I doubt it. It says Winger/Attacking midfielder, I assume the wing option if we are going for the Leicester lad Sadly it will mean two signings who were in the same relegation squad last season, better than no signings though
I was devastated the other day when Wrexham beat us to the signing of Kieffer Moore. Thought this was THE season we got him. There's always January.
not dissimilar players, i imagine it's one or the other... or likely neither As you say, the 'creative forces' in a team that couldn't score.... on the plus side, most see plenty of talent in both of them, and they're only kids... so a year older, should mean a year better.
Maybe El Kanouuss is the inverted left winger and Aaronson is the inverted right winger in a 4-5-1 formation. Or a 4-3-2-1 Christmas tree
