Yeah it does feel inevitable. I just hope it doesn't drag on for another 3 weeks.

One done (nearly) & 1 to go. We’ll keep all the rest.

I think a few more will go on top of Dibling and Fernandes. I’ll say another 4, could be 4 from about 10 though so I’m not going to bother guessing who.

Was thinking that earlier. Not been in the squad or seen in the training content since, either. Wonder whether he's in France or if he's training separately in the non-contact group with Dibling and whoever else is in there

In terms of our lacking creativity, I wouldn’t be against him staying. He will attack defenders and get behind them. It’s just his end product that used to let him down and, who knows, a new manager could help him improve on that.

For me, Edozie is exactly the type of player we should be bringing on at 70 minutes when the opposition full back is tiring. All those stepovers and dropped shoulders will be much more effective than, say, during the first half, when the full back is up to it.

Yeah, I like him much better then a lot of our other wide options! His end product whilst not being brilliant wasn't bad in the appearances he did get last time in the Championship and if a winger can regularly beat a man like he can AND regularly produce an end product then they are playing for a PL club. Would be a good option rotating with Robinson imo, however it doesn't look like the club see his future here.

And a key part of a record breaking 25 match unbeaten run, he's an asset in the Championship played in the right position with compatible teammates. I hope he gets a good move to an upper end Championship club. He does need to move because his image isn't right for a lot of our fans, I could see him doing as well as Harry Reed.

Smallbone cannot cut it in the PL so he won't do as well as Reed.

What is inevitable? Him going or the transfer request? Former seems to be. All the latter really does is mean not paying him a loyalty fee so we can deduct that from a transfer fee. But his isn’t going to be millions.

I thought Tottenham might take a look. They wanted to strengthen in that area anyway and now Son has gone and Maddison has a serious injury.

Having multiple clubs after him is probably the only way we get what we are asking for, a little like how we got so much for Lavia.

TBH I could easily see someone beating Everton to his signature. If you're Spurs or Newcastle, it could be worth spending a few extra million now instead of 30 or 40 extra when he leaves Everton.

Get £45m plus a bit of future proofing.

Immediately spend a chunk on Fellows, Brooks and Harrison Reed, pay a loan fee for an exciting loan like Tyrique George. Use the rest to cover their wages.

    A man can dream.

Maddison out for most of the season, didn't realise his injury was that bad! Torn his ACL. Yeah could easily see Spurs coming in for Dibling now too

Madison out with a torn ACL. Dibling to Spurs? As I like them so much I'll give them a discount. £65 million for Dibling instead.

Is it tragic that such is the silence around potential incomings that I get mildly aroused that our updated squad number list doesn't include a number 10 (or 2)?

    Don't answer that.
