Yeah seen on a post about Xhaka it was saying see you at the SoL for West Ham - They really should of reduced the ticket price for Rayo then £20 for a reserve game

 

They shouldn’t be charging £20 for a friendly anyway imo 10 for adults kids for 5 or even a quid get the ground close to full

 

Yeah totally agree - Nice sunday session on the drink anyways, who doesnt love being rough on a monday for work

 

Yeah, they have priced this wrong. Especially as it's likely to be a mixture of first team and reserve players. Not surprised there isn't much uptake.

Sunderland post hinting that Guiu will play in the Rayo game sunday whilst trying to sell tickets

 

Sunderland AFC welcome La Liga outfit Rayo Vallecano to the Stadium of Light on Sunday 10th August (KO 4:30pm) in our final pre-season friendly ahead of the new Premier League campaign.

Supporters are encouraged to secure their seats in advance, with the Ticket Office open from 12 noon until kick-off on matchday.

All tickets will be issued as digital tickets, delivered directly to supporters via email and scannable on mobile devices at the turnstiles.

Please note, supporters who plan to buy tickets on Sunday but do not currently have a supporter account on our ticketing system will be required to create one prior to arriving at the ground. This helps to reduce queues and ensures a smooth matchday experience.

We advise fans to arrive early and have their digital tickets ready for scanning to avoid delays at entry points.

Can anyone let me know this, sorry if it’s been said. Trying to convince a mate up from Devon to come Sunday. He says it’ll probably be pre season ****. Is our first team playing Sunday or the Monday or is there a mix?

Personally find it pretty bonkers we've arranged two friendlies on consecutive days. Forces Regis to put players into two camps of first team and "back ups" and risks discontent and low morale. Could easily have made them Friday/Monday for example and kept the players at least integrated, even if no player starts both games.

 

Does anyone know if the Beacon of light is open for the Sundays home game bearing in mind it's a 4:30 kick off.
