They look like they were having a good time! Marcondes looked sharp in those finishing drills too.

Squad numbers are out, Sargent keeping 9 has me hopeful. New arrivals:

    1 Kovacevic
    5 Medic
    6 Darling
    19 Diallo
    22 Topic
    27 Schlupp
    30 Kvistgaarden
    31 Moulden
    32 Grimshaw

Suprised that Fisher didn’t move up to 2, and the number 7 has been left vacant

Interesting that Diallo chose 19 rather than 7. Might it suggest that he sees himself as a striker more than a winger? It's also possible that 7 is being reserved for a PL loanee.

I thought Makama, but the club web site says he's opted for 24.

Maybe no-one fancies loading themselves with expectations after Sainz's exploits last season.

Pity about McLean and Mahovo, but Manning still has a full range of players to choose from. Some have expressed concern about the limited time so far to integrate the new players, but there's no reason Manning couldn't choose a starting lineup most of whom have had that time, as he did on Saturday:

Kovacevic; Medić, Darling, Chrisene; Stacey, Wright, Núñez, Diallo; Crnac, Forson, Sargent

If Diallo isn't ready for a start, he could play Chrisene at WB and Córdoba on the left of the back 3. Crnac, Forson and Sargent worked well together up front and all were involved in the goals. The subs could be chosen from those on the bench Saturday:

Grimshaw, Gibbs, Jurásek, McConville, Schlupp, Schwartau, Kvistgaarden, Córdoba, Fisher

That's pretty impressive and there's still McLean and Mahovo to return and Topić and Makama to join in when fit.

Both Topic and Makama should be fit they’ve been involved in pre-season for their respective clubs.

That helps, but there's still the integration into Manning's 'club culture' and tactical choices. There's going to be a lot of competition for places on Saturday, which is good and will help achieve his hard work ethic.

As you mention above Rick, our bench is going to be so much stronger this season.

    Season predictions:

Norwich finish 12th. Despite not threatening to achieve automatic promotion, or reach the play-offs, Manning keeps his job, because reasons.....
Ipswich: 8th, contrary to their fans belief of HMS pee-the-league, they won't. Though they'll likely beat us at Protman Road.
Promoted: Leicester, So'ton. WBA via play-offs
    Reguated: Owls (<sorry>), Oxford, Stoke

Can laugh at how far out these were in 9 months time :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I found an app called Telescore, it has the leagues and scores in a teletext form, for a bit of nostalgia. :emoticon-0100-smile
