He’s about 3 years ****ing late to the party with that ****! Oh and he’s a **** so he can **** off anarl !
They would just vote in a new rule quickly. The cartel are all over this and they know they can operate outside the rules. Manu are now trying to sign a Brighton player after Sesko even when rat face states they might be bankrupt by Christmas. What a complete farce. We need to do some selling to Saudi **** for players at maximum value and loan then back. This window proves we currently doing things right have the capabilities to bridge the divide.
Seen that, and it's infuriating - Baleba is going right to the top, he's better than Joelinton already and has every attribute to be a Kante. It's weirdly as though some higher power has said to Man U "right, we need you back at the top, do whatever you want, we'll all work around the fake rules and make something up to make sure you're alright". Newcastle have been squashed everywhere, City's charges appear forgotten, Chelsea do what they want anyway even though the women's team sale isn't recognised by UEFA, Liverpool are more a 'fair enough' as the numbers do add up, but what do the PL care as they're top anyway? Spurs are the only outlier as they haven't spent that much this Summer.
It’s clearly one rule for the cartel. They didn’t want our takeover so it’s like they have done a deal with the PL to cement their place in the top six with the rules. PIF seem to be bored with it. They clearly had good intentions but they can see now it is not going to happen over night and I don’t think they have the patience: they are used to getting their own way. We always needed to grow our commercials arms and I said this from the start but we are not able to do so and that’s I believe because the PL are blocking it. They don’t want Saudi (NUFC) United winning the league. Look at what the PL are allowing Chelsea to do. 7 year contracts. Selling the womens team and hotels to themselves. It’s corrupt as ****.
Btw it was levy that called the emergency meeting to vote in new APT rules. He's a ****. As it happens if you recall he was trying to sell spurs ot PIF and when they bought us he ****ed us over.
I don’t think we have a demise on our hands. Quite the opposite I think we will try and grow. It’s just the restrictions in place are stunting that growth. We have owners who (apparently) want us to be the best. But they can’t spend a dime because of the rules. They are used to getting their own way because they have money. They need to box clever now and grow them revenue streams. Albeit within the rules that don’t appear to apply to the cartel.
Even with APT, it doesn't take much to box around the restrictions. Like, PIF invest billions in all kinds of things globally. So who's to say they don't increase their 'investment' in say, Coca Cola, for £50m per year (peanuts to PIF) oh and hey presto, we suddenly get a massive new sponsorship deal with Coca Cola. You can't say that is directly against APT because Coca Cola technically have nothing to do with NUFC or PIF. That's exactly the type of loophole the likes of Chelsea play on. I think our owners just have to start being more savvy with how they do things.
Anyway just to confirm - little later than the 5pm cut off - we’ve done absolutely **** all today on incoming players, yes? But have managed to offload one of 6 goalkeepers.
Our point isn’t that we are not doing well. It’s that we could be doing better if we weren’t hampered by PSR restrictions and we were allowed to spend as Chelsea and Man City did when they got rich owners. This allowed them to establish themselves in the CL, and with a global fan base, and big sponsors. The PSR restrictions, together with the related parties rules, means that our owners have to grow the club organically and so our progress will be much slower because of it.
Yes, positive day today Roly - we've trimmed the wage bill. Time to celebrate with a glass of shandy. You deserve it mate.
Everything they do will be reviewed by the PL. they would effectively say you can’t as owners of Coca Cola just invest in NUFC. Thats just not allowed. The recent comment by Levy is indicating that our owners may be pushing the narrative and that he wants that’s shut down. He’s essentially saying that our owners have unlimited resources. Your damn straight they do.
