Lankshear to Oxford confirmed. Donley on his way to Stoke too. Here’s hoping they have a strong season.
If the academy is operating as I would, then next season Donley is either a Spurs senior or he is gone.
We're actually loaning out the only players who can play there! Donley and Devine might sound like an old comedy act, but still.
Sarr and Bergvall have both played there in the pre-season matches. Personally I think Bentacur is a possibility too.
Sport (the Spanish one, not the bus-on-the-moon one) claims that Barca have quoted us €30m for Marc Casado If there's smoke to this, we should be all over it as he's a Kimmich-like midfielder who can win the ball then ping it into a pocket of space nobody has any right in finding which allows us to push Bentancur and Sarr into a more progressive role Doesn't address the obvious gap where a No10 needs to be, but he's basically the sort of player Ange needed at the base of his midfield
George Abbott rumoured to be headed to Wycombe on loan, while Portsmouth reportedly have an interest in Yang

None of those 3 are 10s of a good enough standard. Spurs needed to sign one anyway, with the injury to Maddison, the need has got greater and the club simply have to make a signing of pedigree asap
Remember how in Poch's first season he would occasionally use Dembele as a high-pressing 10? Could be a scenario where Frank sees that as a viable tactical switch, with Sarr the best option for that
I think that Bergvall has a lot of the qualities required to play the role, but he's unproven. We're on the verge of going into the season with virtually no creativity in the first XI. We need a bunch of signings and that's before knowing our injury situation.
Yeah maybe down the line he could play that role but right now the club needs experience. Grealish for me would be a great short term signing, long had a soft spot for him and he’s not a robot and has proper flair and creativity which is dying in football where it seems to be about athleticism and following a system.
He's being linked with Everton and that could be a real hit or miss move. He's probably at his best playing in off the left with an overlapping winger. Let him do his thing and don't try and tie him down too much with instructions. That's not a very Moyesy thing to do, but they're looking a little desperate now. Very short of both numbers and quality.
Grealish has not performed at all well at Man City. Bergvall could easily be a really good player...we can find out by giving him an opportunity to play rather than signing another mediocre player.
A large part of that can be put down to Frauiola taking a hacksaw to basically every single thing that made Grealish stand out at Villa in order to make him a cog in his machine
He does have a slight whiff of Big Fish/Small Pond, but it does have to be said Fraudiola beat the intangibles that made him so useful out of him Similar to what the ubermensch did with Dele, TBH: it turns out that Dele's fundamentals were mid table at best, but his intangibles were title-chasing for a period
