I've not suggested that at all. I've always said they should be in camps with facilities until we can ascertain their identities. However, I now think they should be housed by the liberals of this country. I'm sure you'd be happy to keep a couple of migrants in your spare room or outbuildings. It's a good idea really.

I'm all for that, set up a processing centre in France but guess what? Successive governments have refused that approach, so the only way to claim asylum is to actually land in the UK and then claim asylum.

Well, I'd say processing centres here and in France. I'm sure there are plenty of contractors willing to take on the job. I reckon it would be cheaper than hotel rooms.
