It's Sesko's secret account assessing what Toon fans are really like and whether he should come to us. Oh well, never mind.
Thought you were supposed to have the money already? Feeling a bit hard up? Just move the goalposts. Its worked for the Greedy Six before.
Chelsea pretty much had Samu signed up from Atletico Madrid last summer until he failed his medical at the last minute. Hopefully we don't waste a ton of time trying to sign a player with a chronic ankle injury, the club needs to put some ears to the ground to find out exactly what Samu's medical issue's were which made Chelsea pull out of the deal. No doubt Atletico will have a hefty sell on clause as they sold him for a cut-price £12m fee to Porto which was half of what Chelsea had originally agreed.
Surely at this point Isak has to stay, unhappy or otherwise. Just bring in Wissa, then focus on a CB and CM.
Objectively speaking, if Liverpool have a chance to sign Isak for 150m they should probably bite the bullet. City will be a lot better this season and Liverpool have a chance to sign one of the best strikers in the League
Eddie said you have to earn the right to train with the squad. This is where we see what Isak is really made of.
To be fair - Howe did say that he had to earn the right to train with the group. Up to Isak what he does now.
How on earth do they rescue this disaster?! If Isak is sold near the end of the window, there'll be hell on surely? Rumours of Nicolas Jackson discussions ongoing. Isak out, Jackson in. Thoughts?!
For me, Jackson in for Isak would be a total disaster. So I am holding out all hope that does not happen. I wouldn't want Jackson if we kept Isak.
You don't sell a player that scored 30 a season for someone that scores 10. That's just a pure downgrade, hope it's nonsense. Jackson as a backup to a new main striker is a different conversation.
