Similarly felt we needed 4 1st team (RW, GK, RCB and CF) and 2 backup (CM and defender). We have Elanga and Ramsdale (a signing I don’t like but would be happy to be proven wrong), so need 4, notwithstanding an Isak replacement.

There’s good options out there, but our competence is under huge scrutiny. Chelsea have signed 49 players in 4 years and their achievements are better than ours. It’s like the lad Guessand off to Villa for just £30m, where are we in that deal? He looks decent, we have more to offer and it doesn’t break the bank. I can’t fathom why we aren’t capable of doing these quick easy deals, our leadership are ****ing woeful.
