    FAR better than Scott Parker.

I would say he's the best holding midfielder in the world. He has more assists than Arteta and Ramsey too, and can drop into Centre Back, so he is very versatile.

If he was English the media would be orgasming over him, but as it is, he'll just quietly be a pro.

Don't forget: He cost ONE MILLION POUNDS.

Toure isn't really a holding midfield player although he can play that role he is a box to box central midfield player, sergio busquests is a donkey he is very average dont let the players around him fool you in another team he would not look anywhere near as effective and he is a terrible cheat who dives every time he loses the ball. Song is way better than him, even Keita for Barca is a better player than him

You're kidding me? I see Song as our weak link, because he always ventures forwards, leaving the back 4 exposed. Thank god for Arteta, who has the common sense to slot in whenever Song abandons ship.

That's why we play 4-2-3-1, so if song goes forward Arteta stays back (or wishere before his injury), and vice versa

it means teams are generally sat thinking songs the DM he's staying back can ignore him, then BOOM he sets up a goal.

Yes, but Wilshere can't play the holding role. The moment wilshere comes back into the side, we'll ship more goals if he's asked to cover for song when song goes forwards. I'd drop Song, and play the more defensive Frimpong instead.

I would have Song, Wilshire and Diaby/Ramsey when they are fit I think the both offer more going forward and as it the role is basically behind the striker they would be a better option for me.
