Pressed the wrong button on my mobile, and after two hours gave up trying to get a readable screen. Granddaughter took ten seconds. <doh>

I find you all a very amiable bunch, yes we have our discussions but it's respectful, it's the only blog I am on apart from FB which unfortunately is necessary as so many groups I am interested in use it as a news feed. Boy am I sick of FB adverts. <grr>

I'm sick of all the ads too - the only way to escape them appears to be to only use group pages - I've started avoiding my news feed like the plague.

I got a sine die ban from faceache. No explanation why, but I reckon I've upset some right wing leaning types regarding women's rights, single religion schools, and the orange idiot across the pond. I am on twitter, toxic and ghastly platform that it is, though how much longer before I give that the Spanish Archer treatment I'm not sure.

Friends kept sending me messages to say their FB account had been hacked, so I decided it wasn't a safe place to go

Twitter truly is ghastly, many of the dregs of society seem to I habit it. My block list could easily fill Luton's stadium.

For what it's worth , at 79 I am celebrating the completion of LEJOG - started at Lands End in June, finished last w/e at John o groats AND (dunnet Head for good measure ) on my ( NON - ELECTRIC) pushbike. 37 days 1120 miles , ( it wasn't a straightforward route) 21000 metres of climbing - I said it wasn't straighforward ! - and a thoroughly exhilarating experience. It was not my intention initially to raise funds for a charity, but it seems that a lot of people do the journey for that reason. So, I am collecting for East Cheshire Hospice. If anyone is interested in recognising the achievement , I can send Bank details by e-mail. The QR code that identifies me is too large to load here.

25 out of 30 for me. For the other 5, the artist names I know but the song titles ring no bells...

I'm not sure where to put this item. Am I late to the party. FAWA seems to have been neutered.

Funnily enough, one of those I didn't recognise - Visions by Cliff Richard - was played on a TV programme I watched this morning. Still didn't remember it though.

A very large barn is going up at the village farm. It looks like a Meccano set, and has been erected by two men with cherry pickers. The roof sheeting will not be crinkly tin, but solar panels, and just about every farm is getting one. No glare off the panels, they fit in very well.
