I do remember him having a few lapses in concentration in games leading to chances, but there wasn't a heap. He's young.
Exactly that. But we have a fanbase with high expectations. Just don't expect Rome in a day. Or even a single season where he's played 65% of games where he's blatantly been coddled. Especially in a side that was struggling and it's easier for a bit of promise to shine through. I'd put Pandur there also. Think his distribution will come under more scrutiny this year.
Ur lucky when I first came to glasgow and went in KFC the guy asked me to pick a side..I said beans...he said" rangers or celtic ya fud"
Greaves had great feet and could plough forward and would be able to that more than Hughes , but I think Hughes had a better longer range pass .
Just sign him and then decide later. He’s a proper footballer and looked accomplished in numerous positions last season (seem to recall him doing a job playing left back for an hour at Sunderland). He would be a manager’s dream. 12 months on, with more options upfront, I think he’d tear this division apart. Even before the embargo’s, I didn’t think we’d have a sniff at him coming back.
O For those of a certain age, I recall probably our most comfortable on the ball centre back. . Richard Jobson. What a career he would have had these days. Loved the way he would win the ball and just run taking on opposition players.
I moved up here pre KFC,it was Wimpey back in the day. Same problem with the lingo though. I'm now proficient and fluent in Wimpey,KFC,Burger King,McDonald's and Subway and I'm currently trying to master Punjabi Spice....
Once attended a black tie do with him and McKeon as our guests on a table of ten, it was a memorable night, more so for one of the waitresses.
