Watford and Blackburn I can't get out my head as contenders. Both hard to place for me. Hull are mentioned by most commentators because of their transfer issues but I like their head coach and, for the moment, they've still got some very decent players on their books.
I think the way Watford treat coaches is laughable. At some point I think it will catch up with them. I agree on Blackburn, I cant quite get my head around what they will be.
Not sure if this goes against the grain but I think Wrexham may struggle. Don't think they'll go down but i'm not sure they'll be in the promotion picture. Unbelievably bloated squad, average age must be 30+, Parky as manager. Mid table.
I know you're based down there so what do you think of Derby? Really like some of their business, wouldn't be surprised at a playoff push
I've said derby as my dark horse for play offs just from how they ended the season under eustace seems to get lads playing for him and since seeing their business I'm thinking even more so now
1- Ipswich. 2- Sheffield Utd 3- Norwich 4-Southampton 5- Birmingham 6-Stoke. 22- Preston. 23- Swansea 24- Sheffield Wed. Looking forward to it a lot. Not sure about Leicester. The manager, and the likely points deduction. Sneaking feeling that Robins will haul Stoke up there. Someone has to! No hope for Wednesday. Swansea and Preston are barely floating above the hole, and at least two who are coming up are stopping up, maybe three.
I honestly think the mutants will struggle this season ( that’s not just because I despise them ) Especially if they get rid of hackney
They could well make a push for it. I am a big fan of Eustace and he is the man for the job. Really interested to see how Augyemang goes for them up top. I like Goudmijn as a creative midfielder if he has good movement ahead of him. My one concern with them is pace at the back. They have plenty of experience at CB but perhaps all a bit too similar. My dark horses are Bristol City as it stands. Cant believe their odds. Might depend on the new coach. Thay have signed Randell from Plymouth who I really like as a holding played. Might release Bird and Knight to really player higher.
News this morning days Wednesday's game at Leicester on Sunday will go ahead as planned. They've only got 15/16 players left iirc.
Yeah I seen that the Sheff Wed players are willing to play - One good thing about this is itll give a even bigger media spotlight on it
It'll be interesting to see how Charlton get on amongst all the fawning over Birmingham and Wrexham. They spent a bit of money too.
Even worse for Wednesday today. The EFL have said that they will confirm no new player contracts until Chansiri can demonstrate that he can honour them . This might include Brannan who commited last weekend.
I fancied Bristol City earlier too. They might still be fine mind, but I've decided I don't like the cut of Struber's jib!
Ipswich getting Cajuste to sign in the champ is a statement I thought he was their standout midfielder last year - Very close to a Besiktas move and personally wouldn't of been disappointed to see him here
