Told you, it’s ****ing awful like. I just don’t understand why Hummel haven’t redesigned it with a proper panel or half panel. Why we’ve slapped a white patch on is beyond me proper balls up
It’s way better than the supposed alternative imo. A solid colour back or a little skirt of stripes looks totally ****e for me. At least you can see that we’ve got stripes on the back of it.
Design wise it’s so wrong. You either have a panel or a half panel for me. And you either have a name and number in the panel or just keep the stripes not the number on its own. it looks rotten like
Maybe we’re seeing why Hummel aren’t getting more clubs. Their processes must be ****e if not being able to do better than this.
In all seriousness it’s way worse than just having a striped back. But of the **** options left to us, this is the least ****.
I absolutely love Hummel but they should have knew about this in advance. They’ve not intentionally chose to do this either. Brentford’s looks 10x better for me. It’s why every single kit manufacturer does panels the same and not whatever this is haha maybe it’s because I’m such a kit nerd but it’s an eyesore like
yeh but Hummel not being happy about it is irrelevant. They should have been able to find a way to convert what they’d designed into a panel. I really don’t see how or why it could be difficult
Mate it’s not your shirt nerdiness. Those panels up to the shoulder are absolutely abhorrent. It’s a fanny hair away from having a solid colour back - and they’re the absolute devil. At least this way we’ve clearly got stripes on the back. If any of our players are Catts coded you wouldn’t even see the stripes with the sort of panel you describe.
I was going to buy it but decided not to now. Not keen on giving Hummel much more of my cash now they’ve let us down like this. It won’t affect how we do on the pitch but it’s a global audience and they’ll see us with the most amateurish kit the premier league has seen. Awful for PR and brand. Awful.
Just personal opinion, but fully blocked colour backs aren't that bad, i'd prefer stripes obviously but an all red back would be fine. That strip of white looks awful.
