norwich have signed 10 players .......... and just a few days before the start of season, has a rather big squad to choose from!
I think we can cover his departure. Not a bad player by any stretch, but for me just not good enough if we truly harbour ambitions of challenging the play-offs. He doesn’t dislodge a fully fit Cam Pring for me.
I didn't realise what was going on with Morecambe until yesterday, but like Bury and Macclesfield before them in recent years its a hugely negative impact on the community to lose its local football club. Very sad indeed, when further up the football pyramid the game is awash with money and prima donnas, and at a time when Man U are bidding nearly £80m on one player. Puts it in perspective.
Haydon has never really impressed me but a reasonable bench warmer and sub when needed and I wish him well if he should move on. At least he has shown his worth but as for some of the others it boggles my mind to find any of them still on our books because Mayulu, Armstrong, Cornick should all be gone long ago. Our biggest issues are with injuries as it includes some class players who we will need to pose any challenge. I suspect Vitek is our number one goalie and Max will have to bide his time when his injury is fully healed and only then can he challenge for the top spot.
Add Chester City to that list. A couple have resurrected though - Newport County and Accrington Stanley…..
Others have gone into regional leagues or the National League like Maidstone, Darlington, Hartlepool, Hereford, Workington, Torquay, Rushden & Diamonds, Halifax, Yeovil, Boston. Kidderminster, Scarborough, plus many others
weird NORWICH SIGN 3 GOAL KEEPERS!! A STRIKER a winger 2 defenders +4 [ not found them yet! ] WE HAVE 2 extra GK's on board ..... a striker and a midfielderboth make sense..... maybe Riis will be heading into his career "purple patch" 20 GOALS !
he did quite well last game, Struber will have his opinion of him and likely if he moulds to his liking another couple years on his contract................
Supcon, Mehmeti has more assists in 2 friendlies than he provided all last season. Now, the cynic in me thinks it's pure coincidence but if Struber somehow has got through to Mehmeti about the beauty of passing to a red shirt then you never know. Deep down..... I'll pay his bus fare to the Hawthorns.
He was also our top scorer last season. Now who in their right mind would want rid of the club’s top scorer - when hardly anyone was scoring? Hmmm
Crazy one of the few players up front that scores-we need to keep him. Cornick-Armstrong-Fally-Bell all need moving on before him.
