No! Why would you leave an area you just spent the last two years clearing, to open the door for the next bunch of terrorists just to take it over. Every land has a military army, and the Israeli's are best suited to protecting the area. Often these terror groups gain footholds in refuge camps, normally instilling fear, the IDF are best placed for keeping that under control. I know what you put up earlier might fly in the face of that, but as I said that's one man saying another man said, on twitter, not the most reliable source in the world. I think it's the ideal immediate and short term solution. Control the area, protect the aid trucks coming in, safe passage for medical aid, protect the temporary camps that are or will be set up. And guard the construction workers. If Israel just withdraw, then they are leaving the terrain open to every nutter in the world. Why spend two years clearing an area of Hamas, only to withdraw back into Israel, and give the haters chance to set up and starting rocket launching again into Israeli terrority. The IDF could give Gaza a ring of steel, lovely jubbly!

I think Trump should do what he planned to do in Ukraine, put some Americans on the ground, instead of digging for minerals, helping with reconstruction, that way anyone attacks they have the Americans to deal with. Sounds the perfect solution for future peace in the area.
