Catts was banned for 5 bookings mate and Gardener tweaked a hamstring the day before the game (BBC Radio today). I wouldnt write either off as quickly as you seem to be doing, as both players are right up MoN's street when it comes to graft and counter attacking style. He has worked with Gardener before dont forget, when both were at Villa. We dont have a big enough squad to start culling players like these. IMO of course.
