Think this window is proving that some moves are taking longer than normal I fully expect more moves to happen the latter part of this week / start of next
Not moaning so please don't jump on me but I'm absolutely flabbergasted we've had just one outgoing to the EFL 5 days before the start of the championship season. It's just a really surprising situation considering the volume of players we have that need moves.
We have to be careful with statements like this. Nothing will have gone seriously wrong...we will still be in progress of completing our acquisition programme with a couple of weeks of the window still left. Of course,we want them all done before the first match, but that's often not how it works in this business.
I'm quite surprised at that too. It's almost as though we're waiting for our squad to be completed before we move players on.
Sevilla FC reached a preliminary agreement a few days ago with Bournemouth for an amount of around €30M for Loic Badé. he Frenchman has refused to go to the English club. The club needs sales and departures for planning. Bit in bold interesting. Sevilla need to sell.

If we can convince him to join and Bournemouth can’t be an absolutely massive statement and credit to those behind the scenes. However can’t see past him joining Leverkusen to replace Tah
I’ve a mate who’s a Burnley who reckons things will take off after this Friday. Something to do with psr. He wouldn’t know it’s just what he’s heard, so not sure if it’s true?
Whilst I’m slightly concerned about the potential of not having any additions at centre back for the West Ham game I am more comfortable longer term as I just don’t see the club splashing the cash as they and RLB signing a new deal without improving us in the position. I must be in the minority though as whilst I have a lot of time for Harrison Jones I think he has, understandably, given he’s not a full back, looked poor in that role and I’d feel less confident v west ham if he starts (Huggins hasn’t been great either mind). still time and I trust the recruitment team to get it right but doesn’t stop it being a slight concern to me, although appreciate others are fine with it.
I was talking to my son about it the other day, the likes of Ba, Rusyn, Hemir, Poveda etc while they've stunk the place out they will have likely still triggered a promotion wage rise so the clubs that would be interested in the likes of them and able to afford them is probably really slim, to non existent. Fancy they'll all end up going out on loan with us paying a significant amount of their wages still
most deals dont really get done until the latter end of the window, things start slow then things start to happen
there's also a massive chance a centre back is all agreed by the end of today and has a medical tomorrow, we have seen how quick stuff moves
Our league one team of horrors beat premier league Burnley and sheff United but it’s a given this current team can’t beat West Ham we might aswell all pack in now and take the year off
