Rudoni's 24, so he's hardly a kid. May as well pay over the odds for Hayden Hackney from Middlesbrough if we wanna waste money on lower league players who imo are no better than local players like Longstaff who we've just sold for less. I've no problem spending money on young UK talent from the lower leagues if their reasonably priced but 30mil for a CM who's only had one good season at the age of 23/24 is crazy when good prem players like McAtee and Elliott are available for not a lot more.
Sesko in and keep Isak would be good. Means something similar enough to keep a shape, share the burden and in a year take the mantle - make sure if Isak wants to explore options that we strike a deal with Barca or PSG instead. Certainly an upgrade on Wilson. Just leaves RCB and CM, which is the three positions they want filled before Villa. Flight from Milan, anything in it? Scalvini and Thiaw there. CM not hugely pressing but a concern. On Rudoni, he's very, very average, not a name who's about to explode and nowhere near the levels of McAtee who by all accounts is available for more or less the same price.
Roly I’m noticing this odd faith you have in Arsenal’s nous - and it irks me, I need to convince you they’re “****-all” • that’s the team that (yet again) failed to sign a striker in Jan 2025 and then lost Havertz so put Merino up front • that’s the team that signed a busted Raheem Sterling • they signed Willian from Chelsea on a 3 year contract at the thick end of a quarter mill a week and saw 1 goal in 37 games • they whine and bitch about VAR to cover their shortcomings • they accuse NUFC and others of being ****housers… and yet they lead the way as far as I’m concerned • they’ve overplayed Saka to an extent that will damage his career • they’ve put an accused multiple rapist (no trial yet I know) out on the pitch and still maintained they have integrity • they replaced a very successful Ramsdale with a distinctly underwhelming Reya • they haven’t won the league since 2004… that’s a fifth of a century ago… I’ve no idea why Arsenal are your metric - but it stops now, you hear me?
Some excellent points, I just looked at the fact they finish 2nd fairly regularly as a sign they must do some things right. To be clear, I hate Arsenal. Not Chelsea-level hate, of course.

It feels more like you’ll only bid if Sesko says he’ll choose you (before you’ve really “asked him out”)…. which seems a risky game - he’s pretty, but I’m not going be sad if he turns out to be the prick tease it’s starting to look like. Review in 3 days.
I still can’t get why anyone with a great opportunity would openly pick another team before they have even actually bid. It’s ok saying we’ll match any other offers but if he chooses Manure and for whatever reason they don’t bid he’ll look like a complete dope and we won’t want him either.
