    I don’t think he’s reliable. Also, even if he was, the ‘one step’ would be personal terms and he (apparently) doesn’t want to go there.

    We've had longstanding interest in Bade I believe. But that tweet saying weve made him our priority is bogus in my opinion.

    Funnily enough when I lived in Pegswood Morpeth had one of the biggest Sunderland supporters clubs going in the 70's early 80's. Many a good night had in the Comrades club in Morpeth

    Bade is a lot better imo, ideal for the PL but Lucumi is very good in possession

    They'd likely make a really good partnership tbf

    Ryerson, Lucimi and Bade would certainly be a way to round out the defence (even if Lucimi seems to have gone quiet).

    Football supporters can be quite complicated creatures can't they?

    Coventry fans claimed to love their full back, van Ewijk, despite him 'costing them promotion to the PL'.

    When he was due to be sold they praised him as they expected £15m for Lampard to spend on players.

    Now it looks like only half that amount he's being blamed for costing them promotion <laugh>
