Bro, you need to jump on a plane to Jamaica and try their KFC. It’s all the rage, me and the yanks both agreed it’s better than the slop we get served up in our countries.
I didn’t know what to have for my late meal so I opted for a corned beef pie, chicken balti pie, mince and onion pie and a steak pie. No beans or anything, just four pies on the plate with a protein shake to wash them down.
Some days you just have to be lazy mate Couldn’t be arsed cooking tonight and didn’t want to wait for a delivery.
Never had a corned beef pie, to memory anyway. Think I'd have been struggling time I got to the fourth pie, could eat two, maybe three if I'm really hungry.
Corned beef pie is what we used to do here and it was banging. It's all potato and no corned beef now. The only place you get a good one is someone's nan.
'Someone's Nan' is a top eatery... mine used to do a Lancashire Hot Pot that was just so fookin good and a pastry called 'Sad Cake' literally flat pastry filled with currents and sultanas some spices and sugar ... baked in the oven until the sugar melted and forms a crystallised layer on the top ... banging ...
