Isak at the training ground. Another car came in with blacked out windows. Sounds like Howe has came straight off the plane to meet him there. Let's see what happens.
Interesting. Howe is usually in well before the players so the blacked out windows car is likely someone else.
IF (this is quite a big if, considering our performance in the transfer window so far this summer) we can bring in a decent replacement for him and Wilson, then, for me, you're welcome to him for £150m or £120 + Elliott. You get a good striker, we get to use those extra funds to strengthen out our squad, which is still very thin on quality. He's great when fully fit, but is often carrying niggling injuries which noticeably impact his performance levels, so our turning down an offer like the above would be mad.
They re not due into training till Wednesday. The flight only landed from Korea less than 3 hours ago
The players only landed within the last hour so suspect Howe has been transported straight from the airport to training ground. Officials from PIF may be with him.
I very much doubt they’ve landed , gone through security and baggage collection (granted it’s private) and whisked him to training ground in the last hour. It’s borderline ****ing ridiculous if they have.
I wondered that. Doesn't sound unbelievable as he was very average for a good chunk of time towards the end of the season.
That's ****ing appalling, I felt he kinda disappeared for large chunks last season but felt it was just recency bias because he seemed to have a decent goal average. But no my off hand memory was right, nothing for an entire half of a season.
That’s sort of how I see it But - I will add I really don’t want him for me he has or as some are alluding to his advisors have - acted really poorly here. The same will be done to us as far as I can see in a few years time I wish it would just be sorted tbph Anyway cheers guys
Missed some weirdly easy chances as well, too often. Love what he's done, great memories, but let him go and secure our spending for years to come. The only thing I'm nervous about is how abysmal our transfer team are.
