Ok, off for bad light and it's raining, new ball 4 overs away. Our batters must be very nervous!

And the Indian Quickies will have had a nights rest when they were almost out on their feet bowling to Brooks and Root. Bethnell started the wobbly knees with a piss poor attempt at being a recognised batsman for the couple of overs he lasted.
Still think we will do it in the morning. Couple of streaky fours in the first couple of overs and we are almost there.
Great entertainment today, cricket at its best.
But why are the English in the crowd so quiet? They actually add to the tension.

That rain suited us best and was needed. A chance to reset. That last half hour was men v boys. We couldn't get anything off the square.

Feel a bit sorry for Bethell, young lad, inexperienced at this level, gets called up for a series-deciding test?

You're right though, great entertainment. I'd be happy to see a drawn series myself, neither side deserves to lose it.

I think India might clean us up with the new ball.

regardless of who wins, this series is just what test cricket needs, close well fought games which could go either way keeping spectators interested to the last day, keep it coming guys it's great to watch.

I'm surprised Yorkshires handsome win earlier this week hasn't had a mention. :emoticon-0138-think

Absolutely agree with all you have said plus a little bit of agro between the two sides made it a great watch.

    Oh well, it's only a game :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Well done both sides, fantastic series, no shame in a draw.

Siraj was absolute class this morning. He was the difference. Atkinson did really well and almost did it. That two they ran near the end was the way to go, especially with only six left to secure the tie. He no longer needed to slog, but I guess that's hindsight.

    Test cricket the winner here.

Kudos to Chris Woakes. That was brave.

2nd time in two tests the subject of substitutes comes up, like Pant last test batting with a broken foot, it's brave but this day and age should be unnecessary. Think the concern around it is that people would play the system but incidents like these last two you cannot fake

Poor from England to go from 312/3 & 332/5 and be 367 all out. 7 series without a win against India and Australia as well now. Was a great series though, and great to see all the games go down to the 5th day.
