Something wrong with his car, surely. No pace at all. Going to get overtaken by Russell too.

Charlie will be lucky to get on the podium at this pace.
Gonna be close at the front, but I think Piastri's tyres will struggle once he gets in Lando's dirty air.

Hoping for Piastri to catch and pass Norris before the end to win the race

Well done by Lewis to let Lando and Oscar past as quickly as possible and not carry on trying to get past Hadjar

Love to know what it is. It’s a massive drop off in pace.

Because once the backmarkers are aware the leaders are coming they move out the way quicker for 2nd car onwards.

I wonder if Lando and Oscar's different strats were planned before the race or just on the fly?

Part of the issue was the start going down to 5th and then being stuck behind Alonso and Russell

Lance Stroll, beats Max and Lewis on Pace
    Lance Stroll.

looking forwards to trollling the fanboys with that tidbit.

Russell in the cool-down room watching that move from Piastri "why didn't you t-bone him?" lol.

Unfairly maligned, if I have a bad session and the first thing I see when I get out of the car is my personal trainer wagging his finger in my face I'd be pissed with him too.

I have always said he is not a bad driver , he’s proved that on several occasions .

However his behaviour on occasions is typical of what he is , a spoilt child .

I think my memory and your memory of the personal Trainer must be different .

It was you wasn’t it who has called him Strolllollol in the past isn’t it ?

yeah, I named him Strololol, as to the incident, I watched it not so long ago, he gets out of the car and the trainer is saying something and wagging his finger in his face. Then they walk around the car into a room and he shoves him, I'd guess somethign else was said.

I enjoyed that, especially Russell’s committed move on Leclerc. Oscar gave away that his focus has switched to “beat Lando” now so hopefully this title battle will ignite following the break, as it’s been a bit of a phony war until now.

I’ve defended the “Hamilton’s past it” shouts so far this season and I’m not changing my opinion on one race, but I am genuinely shocked that he went nowhere today especially given this track has often been particularly strong for him.
