Old Trafford has been a bit of a dull pitch/wicket this summer apparently. Lancashire have a number of home Draws this Championship, lots of big innings scores meaning the wicket is doing nothing.

All signs leading up to this test, concering OT, were for a draw.

Looked promising with those 2 in 2 but since then just done nothing. India come back and solid batting to secure a draw.

Personally I think Bashir is a big miss. Will probably prove to be the case at the Oval too. Luckily we only need another draw

No stokes - the partnership breaker of the series, and now probably No Woakes - our most consistent bowler.

Atkinson did well yesterday but it's asking a lot for him to maintain that level since Tongue was all over the place and Overton poor.

A real loosener

The issue is we dont know if that score is good or not until we bat.

If they can get them out early today and bat long then India are chasing a draw. And thst would do most sides.

Crawley lol.

Just hammering the ball about. Just score til they get you stuff.

It works for both of them as they simply are no good at leaving the ball.

Both on the 40s thats job done for each and just keep going until you get done.

I've a rare day off today so enjoying this bit of fun

England turn to be bang in trouble.

No rest likely for England bowlers. Score fast.but get out fast = tired bowlers.

Trail by 38 and 5 wickets left.

This is now a live test again after a fun morning. Should be good viewing for the weekend

Last chance saloon now.

After Crawley out last night to second last ball of day. (Come on ffs game control)

We see the usual score fast die young duckett 50.

No hope Pope fails as captain.

Its brook swinging away and root and its either hero or zero time. Classic bazball.

Brook wont last long but we need a century from both.

Once one goes the semi tail is in and it'll be a procession..

Win via bazball or bust.

Going well. Brilliant partnership by these 2 - brook really does look like the new KP in how aggressive he is. Takes games away from teams at times. Lucky eith the catch/6 but otherwise brilliant innings.

Root just classy as always.
