Are you counting Williams as a left footer? I think he's actually right footed but has played a lot of his career at left back and maybe even prefers it there, which is unusual of course.
Did I read somewhere that McBurnie has been training with a club in england somewhere? I'd hope so, as even if he does sign today/tomorrow, will he even be sharp enough and fit enough to play 60~ minutes? All this ****ing about means he'll need time to get up to speed with our system and players anyway...
I think he did, but I've always understood that he's actually right footed and for some reason just likes playing on his 'wrong' side.
Isn't that the Blunts?...Did I hear Mike White say he could be heading back there....If the Blunts lose Moore or Campbell, I'd lay money on a return.
When brought him on at RB yesterday GLP I was wondering about Drameh. Of all the players we have he has been mentioned with numerous clubs during this close season and I just wonder if they will hold out on him. I do hope so as he has come back significantly better than last season. I di say earlier though I dont think hes a RB, shows what I know..
the cynical side of me did think a bit about that are we hoping williams can play rb, and cashing in on drameh due to cashflow issues?
I still aren’t so sure, he left for a new challenge, won’t get guaranteed minutes and we have somehow offered the most. I’m expecting the worst but have some hope in a positive outcome.
Just watching this match, you can see where some of the blooded youngsters would benefit from regular Division one football. Not to downplay its importance , but the likes of Farsley Town etc won't help them. The club need to make a decision, can we see them as being part of the squad moving forward, in which case let them learn at a level not massively dissimilar, not one totally dissimilar.
