For me.... overall, after Tuesday a. bit disappointing. Defensively we looked ok. Midfield we looked ok before the subs. As for creating something, there was no one to create something. Was it 0 on target. ? I know Ndala hd to drop deep to help the new lad Okiche, but we dont want him playing there. I dont know how good they are in their league.
We will play worse teams than Getafe this season. Thought we did well against a decent side who were very physical.
Not a bad run out, Vaughan looks to have strengthened up and looks useful as a 10. Ndala looks class, unbeaten in the friendlies barring the behind closed door against Lincoln. McCarthy looks as if 6 is going to be his best position.
We were very lucky to finish unbeaten in pre season. Considering that was the final pre season game they really looked sluggish and off it today. A far cry from previous matches. Not saying im worried for Coventry. What i am saying is though we cant be off our game like we were today and expect a point.
Hoping it was a bit of tiredness and the first real test they have had and trying new combinations etc. I agree though, it wasn't a good watch at all.
If we don’t sign any more and bearing in mind that we have a bit of injured quality to return, I don’t think that team gets relegated. Could really do with another quality striking option though.
