Awful pass in his own box by Walsh, lucky to get away with that.

    Walsh... several levels below Nardi.

I wonder what Salaman is like.

Maybe we start with Madsen so we can practice being down to 10 men.

We’re throwing the Preston scouts off the scent.

    What do we think?

I reckon we gave a decent showing. Poor start to concede early, which came from too much space being given and a bit of weak goalkeeping.

Aside from that, we've looked ok against a good PL team.

Poku struggling on the right. To be fair to him, he's only receiving the ball with his back to the goal.

Morgan really poor today with his weighting of the ball. Over-hitting, under-hitting. Should really have worked the keeper for his shot where he had loads of time.

Some of our usual errors we can't seem to tidy up, giving away the ball more than Brentford winning it cleanly.

Brentford didn't look absolutely dominating. We managed to press them back several times.

If we can just tidy up our complacent passing, we can get back into this game.

Trying out our new striker would bring something different. Surely we'll see him in the next half. His high intensity pressing would be good here.

I'd like to see Morgan replaced by Vale. Or striker on and Chair takes Morgan's spot.

Cook dislocated his shoulder in the last second of the half.

Poku is up against Henry. I thought he did as well as any league1 player in his first bigger match would.

Chair Dembele look up for it.

Shame we are playing without a central attacking midfielder...oh you say there was one...Madsen? Who?

I think we are looking too pedestrian and lacking bite in midfield. Started to get further up the pitch in the latter part of the half. We need to get the ball, speed up and force them into mistakes.

After adamson wins a beautiful ball pass to Madsen...he screws up an easy pass to Dembele who was free

I think Madsen is one of those players who QPR fans have picked as their player to dump on all the time.

Case in point, Morgan having a howler of a game. Madsen gets the stick.

Madsen actually started the 2nd half quite brightly.

There was 100% a time in the past where I didn't want to see Madsen ever again. However, since then, he has showed something in 1 out of every 2 or 3 matches.

I'm not saying he's great. I'm not a fan, by any means. But it bugs me when a player can do no good in fans' eyes, no matter what he does. Kinda like Karl Henry when he played for us.

He seems to play the Sam position. Whilst Sam is no world beater, he gives the team loads more than Madsen. I know it feels like a witch hunt but he is crap and brings zero energy to our team

Apart from a diabolical start I’m personally quite happy with what we’ve done, we haven’t been overrun or battered or humiliated and at times have shown ourselves to be on a par, our pressing has been good and more than one player has impressed me, all talk of fighting relegation etc is just bloody ridiculous at this stage, give them 10 games into the season before being so bloody negatively critical <cheers><cheers><cheers>
