I think the Sesko deal is happening. There is a lot of noise surrounding it. I could be that we get the deal over the line. I’m mildly confident on this one.

I am also convinced Isak stays. Gets an improved contract with a buyout clause of £150m and then he comes out and states to the fans that he aware of the Liverpool interest and that he didn’t make any public comments.

 

The only sensible way.

Though it is getting increasingly hopeful. Howe refusing to comment on it and now a Sky sports reporter has apparently he tweeted similar - personal terms on offer increased, full green light from player, finalising transfer with Leipzig and not thought to be a problem.

What we need to do is buy Sesko AND keep Isak.

That would be a statement to everybody of intent.

If we did that I would be prepared if necessary to forget about getting a RCB this window. Would prefer we did get a RCB but if the money would only go to one or other option then get Sesko. Make that statement.
