Surely if you live in Bilton (like me) or Thorngumbald you're allowed to say Hull is great? I visit Hull pretty much every week. In fact if you want to be technical I walk my dog into Hull every single day when I pass Asda. I get it if someone has moved to Leeds but anywhere with 10 miles and you're still a Hull resident for me.
I have no idea if this guy is legit or not, but you'd have to go to some effort to make this up.. and why would someone do that anyway
So, Beverley people are Hull residents? Council tax collectors would disagree. And voting constituencies for councillors about the 10 mile thing.
I love Newcastle and have visited on so many occasions especially when my lad bought two flats there. I’ve never lived there but count it as one of the best places I’ve been to…
I was born & raised in East Hull, my country home is about 25miles from Hull in the Yorkshire wolds but still class myself as Hull boy. When someone asks where I’m from I just say the countryside north of Hull.
I would say you are a Pocklington lad. Just north of Hull? You are 10 miles closer to York. I only live 5 miles further away from Hull in Brid.
