They opened one in Brighton fairly recently with a wannabe trendy, Gen Z twist. Not tried it and reckon it’ll go bust soon.

 

What was the old name for pork bendy?

While other Wimpys have been dropping like flies since the glory days of the 1980s, the Barnstaple branch has stood firm. The restaurant is now the only Wimpy left in Devon. And they still serve the iconic 'pork Bendy' - formerly known as the 'pork Bender', but renamed for obvious reasons.

 

The Wimpy spicy bean burger was boss. I'll get pelters for going veggie though.

 

The one in Bwood is still somehow going last time I checked. It looks abysmal from the outside as most of Bwood does in fairness.

 

Sure there's one in Victoria Station still.

 

Locally we've only got MacDonalds and KFC. Couple of decent food trucks though.
