Huevos Rotos. Potatoes egg and Serrano ham. Sometimes it's fried potatoes with ham and egg on top, sometimes they chop the egg up and combine with the potatoes. Every place I've been there a slight variation. That one used fries and chopped up the egg. Proper stodge which is unusual for the Spanish. Highly recommended.
Chicken wings and cheesy omelette for lunch. Bought half a dozen extra large free range eggs from Lidl and every one was a double yolker.
Had a few round for a bit of grub on Sunday... Forgot to snap the steak and grilled chicken. Went too quick and I was still cooking. I present to you, chicken and bacon wrapped avocado skewers. Glazed with honey and sriracha. Grilled over lump charcoal with a bit of apple wood smoke. I always really enjoy these and usually make some nice flat breads but didn't have the time.
Mrs and the oldest out today, asked the wee man what he wants for his ‘tea’ chicken, mash and veg….. His was a little bit of a smaller portion. The oldest will just feast on nuggets and pizza….my lad loves mash!
Nice and simple butterflied chicken breast with sage salt and pepper. Fried onions garlic peppers and tomatoes underneath.
What's that? Boxes of gravy? Honestly, never heard of this. Anyway, currently in a French McDonald's. Can confirm the sauce in the French big arch is nicer than the British one. Plus, they don't add the dried onion stuff.
Still about 2000 calories of goop though. And when the McFlurrie is added, a day's worth of calories + in about 20 minutes. Still, had just taken three hours to circumnavigate Bordeaux so was ready for it.
