Yep remember that goal clearly now i've seen the video, quality strike, and yep he did flop but he had his moments of sheer class and genius. Never forget the game vs Watford though when i was in MH Lower and the ****er hit the ball over the bar and just missed my head lol
Loads of great memories of so many games in my 40 odd years of going to the bridge but one game will haunt me for ever.It was in the seventies when we were **** and we were playing Bolton who had quite a good side and with 15 mins to go we were 0-3 down and having a total mare and I thought **** it i'm off and trudged off down to the station and went home to Brentwood and was greeted at the door by my dad beeming across his face,wow that was a great game to be at he says,and I say are you sure we lost 3 fukin 0 and he says no it was 4-3 !!Fukin flasher walker got a hatrick I think !When I went to work on the Monday all my workmates were saying how lucky I was to be at such a great game and I just said yes it was amazing and never told em the truth lol........never left early since.
