Absolutely. I wouldn't be against a short term contract. He was highly thought of at Man Utd until he started doing crazy things off the pitch. I wonder what he has been doing for the last year, you would think he would have had offers. I wonder if his wages wouldn't be a big problem as he must need money and he might not be expensive, I can't imagine he had been diverting alot of his previous wages into high interest ISAs.
I agree, I certainly did some stupid things at his age. However, even if he was fully rehabilitated and the model professional, I bet you wouldn't let him drive your boat
Also SJ strikes me as the kind of bloke who won't suffer fools. IF Williams gets a deal, he will know that he'll be out on his ear should he do anything stupid again
