Sesko and Jackson rumours seem to be gathering pace. Isaks position seems untenable now, despite what the owners are saying. I, for one, will roundly heckle/boo/abuse him on his return when Magdad sorts me out a ticket
You can see why players (or more typically their agents) do this though, when they look around and compare salaries. Mason Mount earns more than Isak, Tonali & Hall do combined. Kai Fooking Havertz earns more than Isak, Botman, Livramento & Hall combined. And OAP Casimero earns even more than Isak, Tonali, Botman and Hall combined. Not even going to go there with the obscene amounts the likes of Haaland and Salah are on. At least they actually are good players, but they earn more between them than most our whole squad combined. The big teams really have fooked the game up. It's why they can't shift players on like Sancho & Antony.
It’s ludicrous. I just think it’s odd that clubs pay the agents. It’s the players who engage them so why don’t they pay them. It’s all ****ed up.
Hopefully all just **** journo stirrers making a headline out of nothing. But, IF there is any truth in this then Isak can actually go fook off and we should squeeze any buyers for every penny they have, as he will have been encouraged to do this to force a sale and with a reduced transfer fee. And dock his wages if he's not turning up.
Who says he won't perform? Big assumption on the part of a lot of people. He might push for a transfer but, if refused, if he doesn't perform then the top, top clubs might just move on. It's a big risk for him not to perform. Also, he doesn't come across as that sort of person to me. I accept I'm guessing but we have to send out a message to other clubs, players, agents and fans that we won't be messed around. Big Yin coming in says to me that we are about to do that. He might still get sold but I would be greatly surprised if we didn't get top dollar if he is sold. My perception of the Saudi mentality and one I fully agree with.
