All well and good, but it smacks of misunderstanding. He’s not someone who can just be told to shut up, get on with it. The players have too much power of course but that’s the nature of things, we can’t change jackshit. I’d rather we spent energy sorting the board, scouts, challenging PSR then maybe players like Isak wouldn’t want away.
I think what people are forgetting in this equation are the Saudi's. They do not like to be disrespected/ crossed. If Al Rumayyan feels disrespected then he can make life very uncomfortable for Isak.
But that won’t achieve an awful lot in a positive sense. We won’t sell and get money. As such we won’t have money to reinvest. And we have a grumpy player who won’t perform.
That 200m would be 340m if we sold him. Not that our scouts and team Are capable of spending that mind.
I don't see it that way,if he wants out he'll have to perform and what better place to display your worth than the WC and CL.
Maybe. I just don’t see the point in being stubborn. We could do a lot with the money if we got our **** together. And there is a part of me that has lost respect for Isak.
Part of me as well but we're running out of time to get anyone in,he could still get sold in January plus none of us can see into the future,Haaland could get injured and City rock up with a £200m offer!
