Manchester United and Burnley have joined Brentford, Southampton and BorussiaDortmund in the hunt to sign Metz's 18-year-old Senegal forward Idrissa Gueye. (Sun)
I can’t envisage a scenario whereby he doesn’t pick us over the other clubs listed Saint Idrissa thread?
I see that Sam Johnstone is being linked to Burnley to replace Trafford. That might be another destination for Ramsdale crossed off.
I believe that's pretty much his release clause fee so we've got as much as we could have hoped. THB, Quarshie, Edwards, Wood, Sanda is a really strong group of youbg centre halves (plus stephens) with a surprising amount of experience now at this level now so cash in and pleased JB has found a top club. ABK next please.
Sanda didn’t feature much in Spain and looks likely to go out on loan If THB is staying then maybe Wood departs as well
Tomasz Włodarczyk, Polish football journalist who seems to be spot on with everything Bednarek over the years, says that Jan flew to Porto this morning, with medical scheduled for later today
More good news: both in terms of weakening a rival and Palace not coming calling for Fernandes (seemingly)
Yeah that would be a dream scenario really. Would indicate Palace think he’s better than Fernandes, or maybe more attainable. I wonder if Leicester will spend much given the points deduction. Seen some of their fans saying they should go in for Sargeant for £20m so they seem to think they can spend. Similar position to us (in a stronger position) in terms of how good their squad is for this league, so they won’t need to do too much to be right up there, points deduction or not.
I reckon it's more to do with the fact the Leicester players will likely be more affordable as they are under a lot more financial pressure than us.
Possible. I didn’t watch much of Leicester last season so no idea how good Bilal is, he was highly thought of when they signed him though. Probably one of those where you think whichever one you have watched more of is better. Both should be way too good for the Championship if they end up staying
That will be a great move for him. Will also get the biggest wage of the books and fill up the transfer kitty a bit more
