Excellent game, Spain were technically much better than us but we toughed it out, well played ladies. As for Lucy Bronze, I was amazed when she insisted on coming back on after she hobbled off with her injury, more than just balls I would say. Apparently the rules changed as before she wouldn’t be allowed to re take it . Fortunately didn’t matter. TBF the penalties did seem better and the keepers had to work hard to save them . Of course we scored more again . Yes Spain as you might expect looked better but we dug in and actually came back into the game well .
