You need to wait until the end of these sessions before casting these judgements! Saying that, the Ferrari is still pretty rubbish, despite the much hyped upgrade. It’s so tedious.
I enjoyed watching some of Emma Raducanu’s 2 set win in the Washington tournament. The first set was more than an hour, ending 6-4 and the second set Emma came back from 2-5 down to win it 7-5. Great to see her show some real grit, as she seems (imo) a little frail mentally, at times. It’s pretty hot there and she did request a blood pressure check when getting back to 5-5 in the final set. Semi final is today I think.
Unbelievable finish at the MCG, a last-minute try by the Lions to nick the match and win the series. The whitewash against the whingeing Aussies is on!
Has anyone seen Teds qualifying notebook ? The Helmet walks by , Ted says ( quietly ) hey Helmet , where’s your mates , how’s Christian ?
Saints fan Ryan Garner boxing now defending his European super featherweight belt. Decent scrap so far.
Yeah it's looking better now. Fingers crossed they get this race started soon before it clashes with the Euros final!
Feel like it could have started considerably earlier. I have a vested interest though as I have to go out about 16:50
Basically going to be a dry race at this point. Pathetic. Wet races used to be one of the most exciting things about the sport, they basically don't seem to be a thing anymore.
I took a break from watching the cricket to see the end of the Women’s Scottish Open golf tournament. Lottie Woad, a 21 year old from Surrey, has finished on -21, 3 shots ahead of the runner up, winning $300,000 in her professional debut. She’s a quality golfer and won the Irish Open 3 weeks ago as an amateur, and turned pro only last week. She’s got a great future ahead.
I do understand why they take extra caution at Spa though. It's the visibility that is the issue here.
