His stats are decent but not exceptional…. And only one season as first choice in a top European league. Had never heard of him until a month ago but he looks good on YouTube so I’m all in!

Got to say I'm not overly excited about Paixao, he's made it clear he wants Marseille and CL football and no one can blame him for that but there's been nothing from his camp about wanting to join Leeds, its all been Marseille this and that. So if he does come, I just have a feeling of will his heart be in it and he's just here for the short haul.

 

Wouldn't fret too much. Very few I suspect of our lads are here for long haul. Promise of CL footie and most will be gone. Soloman did great despite his heart still being in Spurs. Rapha same and he clearly wanted to be at Barca

 

The flip side of the coin is he comes here to tear it up so that he can move on to a CL club, this is essentially the Brighton & Bournemouth model, we won’t stand in your way if the right bid comes in. Otherwise you just recruit mediocre players.
