We been having this convo every game mate. He does need a loan but only if it’s the right one. I don’t think League One or back abroad is gonna help him. Championship, SPL or Eiridivise works.
Maybe. But the look of it will be horrific. I'm sure this will be a Saudi decision. It will go to the top and they can block this move. If they don't it suggests that their commitment is not as wholehearted as had been assumed. I think they'll hard ball him.
Definitely need to see a few heading out soon. Squad looks bloated to me. Coaches probably getting away with it a bit now due to injuries and some training away. But you really dont want too many in the group when trying to get a message across on patterns of play etc. More is less when it comes to numbers in the squad sometimes.
I agree, but is there even a point keeping a non-committed player and devaluing him? He declined Saudi so they were prepared to move him out of the club in that way, I just don’t see how he isn’t at Liverpool next season. You can say they’ve only replaced one (Etikike for Jota say), they gonna need replace Diaz and Darwin. Wirtz didn’t replace anyone, was just a standalone signing. Kerkez and Frimpong wing backs. I’d suggest Liverpool will want 2 more maybe even 3 when Harvey signs for us….
It certainly is. Was on Google search bar on phone yesterday doing a quick search and noticed 'Chris Rigg exit' clearly targeting my potential interests so I gave it a click. Articles looking pretty much the same were on Mackemnews and Football insider' about 3 or 4 articles with the title Chris Rigg reacts after confirmed Sunderland exit and Isidor reacts to Chris Riggn on social media after confirmed exit! Basically it was basically using the fact that Matty Young had left as the confirmed exit and then first Isidor reacting with a thumbs up of whatever to Rigg posting a photo of him back in training as Isidor reacted then a few days later Rigg reacted to something on social media as a Chris Rigg reacts after confirmed exit still of Young! All while rehashing that story of the ex coach who said Everton should go for him and saying Everton are favourites to sign him! Load of AI bollocks designed for traffic and knew **** all, I read two of them to see how what they were mashing **** together to manage it and to be honest it was very difficult to follow! I still don't know what Rigg was reacting to and how they linked it to Youngs loan move, I'd get if Rigg liked the news or wished him luck but don't think he did! I know it's for traffic but it's absolutely slop!
Aye definitely needs a haircut, and there’s a few lads who have done well pre season that we want playing 30 games this season if we can get them right loans.
Championship would be perfect, it’s just the concern of would he get the games in that league. Charlton or Derby look great moves for a year, but Derby will be after playoffs and Charlton desperate to stay up and they may panic with playing him.
Yep , all football logic says he goes. But this is political. For the Saudi government, and make no mistakes that is what we are talking about here, it will be humiliating . That's why I think they will dig in. This is them being put in their place, and they won't like it. I have always been sceptical about them being there in the really longer term. This is a litmus test of their intentions.
Aye that’s why never mentioned prior cos SURELY top level clubs are looking. But if he went Everton? Just seen Moyes interview there and he looks very similar to when he was here. Says he’d be ‘very surprised to be honest’ if they signed anyone this week.
There's pretty concrete interest from Liverpool, Bayern, Napoli, Leverkusen etc. so yeah I don't think there's much hope really - even from forest in europe. Maybe nobody makes a move and he gets left with everton but I can't see it, also plays the same side as their only decent winger.
Seems like a guy Le Bris really wants, can see him telling the lad to **** off his agents use his and sign up on the previously agreed deal.
