Taking the old dear out for lunch today at some fancy gardens. It’s a shame she can’t really walk more than 50 yards these days as it would be good to have look around. But the food there is decent.

roads are mental this time of year though with the holidaymakers. Tanya with her £80k Range Rover getting stuck down a narrow lane and then not wanting to reverse in case she scratches a bumper.

My old dear is a bugger. She refuses to use one. I've suggested getting her a mobility scooter too but she's so stubborn. 'I don't need one of those !'

So shuffling along at 0.5mph it is.....

 

Put her on a skateboard mate ... that'll teach her ...

 

My gran was like that, stubborn.
Then she tried a mobility scooter and it changed her life.

the new ones are lightweight and fold up so small.
Shame she isn’t around to use hers anymore, she got a little lost and ended heading up the 58 into traffic

 

I take it your Gran did come back from that particular trip up the A58 though ?

My old dear is like this with everything, which is partly why she's ended up the way she has, because she doesn't address any of her health issues and just buries her head in the sand and hopes it will go away, which of course it doesn't

 

We have just got rid of a number of mobility aids including a mobility scooter, during the clearing of my MIL bungalow. I wanted to keep the mobility scooter, but misses wouldn’t let me. She knows that I would be out and about on it!
