In fairness I think the CBs are struggling in possession simply because the options in front of them aren’t as good now without Sadiki not being deeper

I just think we aren’t getting forward enough so hard to judge the creative players

Reality check that first half that we can still be a Jekyll and hyde team

For me there’s a lot of narrative fitting going on today. The creative players get a free pass as all the blame goes on Neil for ‘slowing us down’. Meanwhile DN doesn’t get even the slightest amount of mitigation for the complete lack of impact or presence from any of the players ahead of him. He’s been poor like the vast majority of them, but it must be tough for him when his only safe pass is backwards to a centre half. There is zero movement or life ahead of him. Hopefully Diarra helps with that second half - and the likes of Roberts when he makes an entrance.

Neil been no worse than any of the midfielders for me. Probably better than Sadiki and perhaps Le Fee.

Am I seeing it wrong or did some people already have their minds made up?

Our players aren’t too keen on matching their physicality. None of ours are putting in any strong tackles.

Give some of it back man.

I think our second side will do better than the first 11 because they all have something to play for.

To me anyway, a big part of why the creative players aren't in the game is because of Neil. His defensive work is fine but as the distributor at the base of the midfield he's been well off it. Creative players can't create if they aren't getting the ball in good areas from the deeper players

From my point of view it's nothing to do with 'new toys' I think he's just been bad

Brady doing my head in. Any chance SAFC can hire some good commentators? Danny is the best of a very bad bunch
