    Don’t think we necessarily a back up plan, more that the age he’s at he needs to get it right.

    We are an up and coming club but still not an easy sell to everyone.

    This is why Xhaka would be such a major coup, once you get one with that status in it makes it more appealing to those who may have interest but doubts.

    Not getting the feeling that lucumi fancies it here really, hope I’m wrong as the lad looks a good player and would strengthen us in an area where it’s much needed.

    still hoping for xhaka but again not feeling that it’s likely.

    When you are after the better players the clubs wanting to keep them, the nore big clubs are after them.

    trusting the process and would like to see us strengthen all the way down the spine to build on our early successes n the market.

    If we can do that I fancy us to surprise more than a few people.

    Upwards of £22m for 27 year old with only a year left on his deal. Club must think he’ll be transformational. We’ll need him to be for that sort of deal.

    Realistically we are the back up plan for all but a very small cohort of footballers. A bloody good back up plan but still not first choice.
