Up to now it's been, serious understatement alert, a very poor window. But there's always next week to give us far better news. I still don't think that Isak will be allowed to go to Liverpool though. That would surely be too much for our owners.
It’s a shame because he’s the only goalkeeper in the entire world who would be an improvement on Nick Pope, it would seem.
Howe said something about approaching our best levels in Asia. We haven’t even got a ****ing striker. Has he had a breakdown? Genuine question. We are at least 5 players (including replacing Isak) from a squad fit for purpose. He also mentioned being very strong financially, and battling to improve the squad. I struggle to understand why we, above any other club, find it so difficult. Fair amount of contradictions from Eddie. Best levels, looking at multiple players, need to bring in, but quality not numbers, or at least he hopes so.
Day 42 and Eddie is rocking back and forth, mumbling incoherently to himself, with a few piercing cries intermittently.
Howe has battled for full control and at this point Manius Achillias springs to mind. He's got to get hold of this.
Come on Roly, even for you? EH unaware that we need players and then your very next sentence is EH saying we were battling to improve the squad!!! One or the other, come on.
Howe deciples are so far up his ass that despite knowing Howes got full control now want to blame PIF. Essentially anything that's going well they assign to Howe and anything not going well they blame some other poor bastard like Mitchell or now PIF PIF bought the club and paid for our success. Howe is just the coach. PIF with Howe is good Howe without PIF would be no good. Don't bite the hand that's feeding you nufc fans.
I think we should tell the dippers that they have 7 days to complete a deal otherwise we won’t discuss a transfer any further.
Sorry, between the two posts I read his quotes from Asia!! So that particular slice of stupidity is on me.
Once we've signed Wissa they'll cash in... I remember telling everyone Wissa was on Howes list in 2023. It became a big joke on here and now look. Fortunately so was Sesko, but I worry they'll get that one over the line, because he'll be expecting higher wages, and Howe has no pull.
Who called the cops? Edited the post - should've deleted the first bit. Either way, we'll all survive this.
I'm being serious but does anyone have any belief Newcastles current recruitment team can actually operate in transfer windows? I'm a bit worried we'll end up with nowt.. We seem too scared too do anything risky or bold.. Is that self preservation or really the clubs interests alone ? I think both at this point.
Shame that we can't make an example of him. Stick him with the youth team and is not allowed to train or play with the first team. Enforce his contract rigidly and rob him of three years of his career.
Should Sesko be burned at the stake if he wants to come to Newcastle? Isak is just chasing a dream that Newcastle don't appear to be able to offer. The last thing he wants is to end up like Alan Shearer. I don't blame him.. I blame the ****house rules and the way football has built this legacy club culture over the last 20 to 30 years. It's the grubby greedy hands that created all this.
