We must have given up on Trafford and gone after him, so City have changed their mind and gone for him instead.
It’s sad that we have to wait for city to decide before we get to do anything. Again, I’m bored of saying it even more than anyone’s bored of reading it, but the scouting over the last 2/3 years has been borderline embarrassing.
No they are not. Donnarumma is considering his future. Manchester City are looking for a new heater. 2+2=115
We've spent about £120m on players lol more to come, hope you sign the Burnley goal keeper before we play them he is brilliant.
Where's GG? Hope he's alright not seen him in for a while. I want to know his take on the PSR aspect of this potential signing.
If we sign Wissa, the contract length, you would imagine, would be less than a younger person. So, if we pay£30m and give him a 3 year contract, PSR wise that's the same as signing a £50m over a 5 year contract That's without considering wages. With wages, PSR over a 3 year contract will cost more than a 5 year contract Transfer wise it's £10m compared to £6m - Great Wages wise though the overall cost will be far more expensive. So if we sign him on£100000 a week, the 5 year contract would be approximately cost £10m more
Most Newcastle fans would justify jumping into bed with anything at this point I think, but I'm not going to. I'll wait to see how things go and make no major complaints for the time being. He's definitely not a bad signing. Enjoy. BTW I'd be pinning my entire seasons hopes on Wissa defeating Ekitike and Liverpool match week 2 tbh.
To me, Wissa would be the final version of what Osula could become. Hopefully Osula learns from him (assuming we sign him)
I don't mean to sound horrible, but if Newcastle are serious about competing for top honours within the next 6 years, then the likes of Osula aren't going to be playing.
Depends on development. Or are you saying only other clubs can develop youngsters that we then go and buy once they show their promise?
I just think Osula is a bit huff and puff at the moment and very erratic. The likelihood of him getting to the standard required to play regularly for a club competeing at the very top is very slim imo.
